North Dakota’s Northern Plains UAS Test Site is working to push the boundaries of what is possible with unmanned aircraft. We were challenged to help launch its beyond-visual-line-of-sight UAS system, Vantis, and promote the capabilities and economic benefits to the state and the larger aviation world.
A striking visual identity, unique name and compelling website created the initial buzz, while digital promotion, original content and events grew the recognition and anticipation of Vantis. With the industry push to achieve a net zero emissions goal by 2050, Signature Flight Support became the first FBO to provide a permanent supply of sustainable aviation fuel to its customers. They now needed a new brand and launch to its customers and the industry.
Working with the Signature team, we developed a fresh name, Renew. It communicates earth-friendly, future-enhancing benefits. The conceptual logo can be seen as a stylized leaf, aircraft silhouette and even a fuel-pipe network. Teal and chartreuse complement Signature’s branded dark blue. The launch strategy included a press release to announce the offering complete with a photoshoot to include a branded truck wrap in addition to other signage displayed at the FBO’s.
