The content creator will be responsible for creating editorial calendars for social media clients and managing the execution. This team member will work directly with our media and brand management team to both develop and implement paid, earned, shared and owned campaigns. Develops and executes client social media strategy, programs, provides ongoing analysis and adjusts as needed.

Provides copywriting, image selection, brand messaging/storytelling and publishes to multiple platforms.

Leads content strategy and creation (articles/blogs, emails, organic and sponsored social posts, pitches, press releases, scripts, websites, etc.).

Assists with agency presentations and strategy decks.

Provides general and SEO copywriting, editing and proofreading in AP Style.

Develops the overarching strategy and the content schedule for editorial calendars.

Contributes to the strategy and implementation for email drip and lead-gen campaigns.

Conducts keyword research for articles/blogs and websites, among other owned assets, as well as overall search engine optimization (SEO). Incorporates SEO and SEM into campaign copy.

Is familiar with WordPress and Yoast SEO.

Acts as digital advertising back up for our digital media coordinator.

Serves on the digital team as a contributing, idea-generating member.

Stays up to date on the latest advertising and aviation industry news and trends.

Dives in and does research, reporting the intel to help clients succeed and to develop agency best practices.

Sets up and monitors internal and external online surveys for clients through Survey Monkey.

Understands and has familiarity with CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)

Supports media and public relations, such as through direct pitching and press release distribution via email or newswire service. Monitors coverage and communicates it to the appropriate AE or client.

Updates and maintains the agency’s distribution lists in database and Campaign Monitor as well as agency contacts, client contacts, email addresses, etc.
Performs general duties such as research, coordination, copywriting, proofreading, media relations, event support and administrative duties.

Meets regularly with key team members to coordinate agency efforts on behalf of clients/accounts.

Assists new business team with research and relevant data.

Advances projects through pleasant persistence, maintaining good relationships with team members and clients.

Organized, detailed, and able to handle multiple deadlines.


Education/Experience Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years’ experience with digital and interactive marketing.

Digital Expertise Proven acumen with adverting copywriting, websites, social media, and interactive marketing (paid, earned, owned, and shared). Familiar with WordPress; Google Analytics; paid social across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn; social media management tools like CoSchedule, Critical Mention and Databox.

Natural Organizer Fluent in (or dives in and learns) presentation and organizational tools such as Keynote, PowerPoint and Excel.

Communicator Simplifier and excellent conveyer of complicated information, verbally and in writing (press releases, social media, meeting action items).

Team Player Proactive, solutions orientation who plays well with others and displays the highest levels of professional integrity and confidentiality.
