This week’s Wichita Aero Club On-Air Summit proved the value of being nimble. Which is apropos since it was a recurring theme of the panelists: Rod Wilson, Air Capital Interiors; Jason Cox, Cox Machine; Woody Cottner, Global Aviation Technologies and Daniel McCoy, … (more…)
Question. Does aviation have more than its share of legends and heroes? Or does aviation just dole out more honors and awards? I’m biased, but I believe it’s the former. Aviation draws people who climb higher and go farther than most. I was reminded of this recently when I attended the International Air & Space Hall of Fame induction at the San Diego Air & Space Museum. (more…)
What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Except if you’re NBAA. What takes place at its turbocharged tradeshow ripples throughout the world. GiGi loves it all. From the grand-opening session right down to the last walkabout at the static. And, … (more…)
It’s time to talk safety. Channels that offer actual-user communication are a good place to start. Face-to-face events, online forums and social media can help expand the conversation. People seek insight from other people in the know. There’s no better … (more…)

Al Ueltschi knew there is simply no substitute for being the best. Our hats are off to him, and our hearts are heavy for his friends and family – including the entire worldwide FlightSafety family. Al Ueltschi has touched down for his final landing. It was a magnificent flight. (more…)
A little over four months ago, we launched our new responsive design website. It was a good move. It’s led to more mobile traffic. Analytics tell the story.

In addition to increasing the number of visits, we saw a 50% rise in the time spent on the site between 2010 and 2011, and an astonishing 100% increase between 2010 and 2012. (more…)

Our Wichita-based agency – Greteman Group – has been involved practically from the start. Our role as public art consultant: to tell the story of Wichita’s incomparable aviation history. We’ve been there, sleeves rolled up, working with the architects designing the aviation-inspired terminal. It’s been a privilege. (more…)
We’ve pulled out all the stops for a :30 TV spot for the Kansas State Fair. It honors an event that “Never Gets Old.” Personally, the spot never gets old either. I can watch it over and over and find something new to laugh about each time.
This is Greteman Group’s ninth year as the fair’s agency of record – and the creative just keeps getting better and better. And that’s saying something. Our very first campaign won best of show at the International Association of Fairs and Expos – and we’ve racked up lots of other wins, including a Telly for the 2011 spot. (more…)

If you’re an airframe manufacturer, flight support or aftermarket provider that percentage may be even higher – making it even more important to make your website friendly for those on the go. (more…)
