My favorite experience was a guided tour by a volunteer, a veteran of the air force, for an international group visiting Wichita. The guide breathed life into the museum with his own stories. It was almost as if the museum became animated, as in the currently playing movie, Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian. His story added meaning to the role of aviation and the historic airport.
